Country of Origin: UK
About: Jonathan Shelley, a graduate ofNewcastleUniversity, has spent over 20 years working in environmental management across the North East for the Environment Agency and its predecessors, both as a fisheries scientist and a project manager. Much of this work has been to restore salmon populations to the region’s rivers and gathering data to understand how fish stocks respond to changes in the environment. He is interested in how this environmental information can be used more widely, to inform, educate and inspire people so they can better understand, value and get involved in their environment.
