A wholly postgraduate institution of university status devoted to art and design, the Royal College of Art is one of the world’s most celebrated Art Schools.
There are some 900 students here at any one time, taught by over 120 members of staff – distinguished artists, designers or writers. The number of visiting lecturers who come to the College during the academic year is huge and encompasses the very best of those involved in contemporary art and design practice.
A highly concentrated community of young artists, designers and communicators, the College is host to a unique, uniquely creative group of people, all of whom focused on art in a design environment and design in an art environment.
Our students come to us from over 40 countries as well as from the UK, and it is this mixture of backgrounds and talents that makes studying at the College such an exceptionally vibrant and productive experience.
